Speaking: Barb Greenberg

Reaching Out to Others...

View Barb's speaking schedule

Because of the powerful response to her book, Hope Grew Round Me, Barb is being asked to share her story and speak to a wide variety of groups and organizations. This strong, proud and focused woman we see today has come a long way from being a high school "wall flower."

Barb did not grow up longing to write like so many people do. So, she feels blessed to have discovered this passion in her 50s. Loving her new career as a speaker and an author, Barb is working on her next book. She says, "It's wonderful to know there are always new gifts to be found in life."

Barb lives in the Minneapolis area with her cat, Buster, and, of course, she still rides horses! She has two healthy daughters who live successful lives today.

Her dream for them - shared by many mothers - is that they never live one moment feeling broken, damaged, unappreciated, or unfulfilled.

From Mother to Beauty Consultant to Writer to Speaker...

For over fifteen years, Barb trained and motivated consultants and directors in her position as an Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay, Inc. She has spoken at small group meetings, as well as workshops with over one hundred participants, covering a variety of topics including, goal setting, time management, and self-esteem building.

Barb's talks are an empowering blend of educational information and life experience. Whether challenges are found in personal situations or in the workplace, she offers tools and inspiration to learn and grow.

Appealing to a Wide Audience - at work or in groups

Personalized for Each Group: Barb's audiences include business people at chambers of commerce, health care providers in hospitals, women's groups from churches and synagogues, networking groups and book clubs.

When talking with health care providers, she often is asked to focus on her daughter's rehabilitation process, and the impact of staff and procedures on the healing of patients. When talking to business groups, transformations often have to do with changes in the workplace. Barb enjoys the variety and is constantly finding new organizations that are eager to hear her message.
